Johnson and Wales has named Erik Noack its new coach. He replaces Lou Izzi, who resigned to devote himself further to his full-time job as the school’s compliance officer.
A member of three NCAA Division III finalists while playing at RIT, Noack played in 200 professional games in the East Coast Hockey League and the Western Professional Hockey League. After winning championships with the Roanoke Express and the Abilene Aviators, Noack began his coaching career at Fredonia.
Noack has also been heavily involved in the growth and development of a project known as Hard Water Hockey, a nationwide instructional program for hockey players of all ages.
