The top two teams in the weekly USCHO.com Division I Men’s Poll remain the same with Boston College holding steady at No. 1 and North Dakota at No. 2, but after that, 16 of 18 teams from last week’s poll are still ranked, but in different positions.
Yale, despite not having played a game yet, still sits at No. 5, while Wisconsin stays at No. 15.
BC received 49 of a possible 50 first place votes, while North Dakota received the other first place vote.
Miami and Michigan flip-flopped places in the poll, with the RedHawks jumping to No. 3 and the Wolverines dropping one spot below.
Minnesota-Duluth jumped to No. 6, up one notch from last week, and New Hampshire climbed to the seventh spot from No. 9.
Boston University also made a move in going from No. 10 to No. 8, while Alaska moved up five places from 14th to ninth.
Rounding out the top 10 is Nebraska-Omaha, a school that sat at No. 17 last week, but jumped into the top ten after its sweep of Minnesota.
