I already previewed the four quarterfinal series in this week’s Atlantic Hockey Column, so let’s get right down to the picks.
AHA Quarterfinals – Best of Three Series
Friday, March 11, Saturday, March 12, and Sunday, March 13 (if necessary)
American International at RIT – The Tigers finished 0-2-1 and had an extra week to think about it, but I think home ice will help them shake off any rust. RIT in two.
Sacred Heart at Air Force – These teams have had some memorable meetings in the AHA playoffs the past few seasons, but I think this one will be all Falcons. Air Force in two.
Canisius at Holy Cross – I think this series is going to three games, with the home team prevailing. Holy Cross in three.
Mercyhurst at Connecticut – This is my upset special. I took the Lakers last weekend and it was the only pick I got right. They’re playing well at the right time. Mercyhurst in three.
