Men’s poll sees North Dakota retain top ranking

The USCHO.com Division I Men’s Poll is scrambled a bit this week, but the top three teams remain the same.

North Dakota is again No. 1, with 37 of 50 first-place votes, while Boston College sits No. 2 and Yale No. 3. BC garnered seven first-place votes and Yale earned five.

No. 4 Miami, coming off their first-ever CCHA playoff championship, had the other first-place nod.

Denver stays at No. 5, Michigan falls two spots to No. 6, Merrimack is again No. 7, Union rises one to No. 8, trading places with Notre Dame, and Western Michigan enters the top 10 after a No. 12 ranking a week ago.

At No. 11, Minnesota-Duluth is where it was a week ago, New Hampshire drops two to No. 12, Colorado College is again No. 13, Nebraska-Omaha still No. 14 and Dartmouth still No. 15.

Rensselaer jumps two to No. 16, Boston University falls one to No. 17, as does Maine to No. 18.

Cornell rises one notch to No. 19 and Air Force, Atlantic Hockey champions, enters the rankings at No. 20.
