I started the season pretty strong, going 3-1-1 (.700). There are some big games on the slate this weekend, so let’s see if I can keep it up.
Nov. 9-10
Nazareth at Manhattanville
Nazareth has held its own so far this inaugural season, while Manhattanville played Hobart tough last weekend. Nazareth should add its third win of the year on Friday, while the Valiants should claim their first victory of the season on Saturday. Nazareth 2-1, Manhattanville, 3-2
Utica at Neumann
Both teams can score goals. Utica pulled away from Nazareth last weekend in its first test of the season, while Neumnann split with Elmira, winning the rematch after suffering an overtime loss the first night. Look for another split here. Utica 6-4, Neumann 4-3
Nov. 9
Hobart at Brockport
Brockport just beat Cortland, while Hobart is undefeated so far this season. Look for the Statesmen to continue their trend. Hobart 6-3
Elmira at Geneseo
Geneseo and Elmira both got blitzed by Oswego this season. Genseo has played more games to date, but look for Elmira to come out ahead in this one. Elmira 4-3
Nov. 10
Hobart at Geneseo
Hobart should keep its winning ways going by completing a weekend sweep. Hobart 4-2.
Brockport at Elmira
In battle of Golden Eagles and Purple Eagles, look for the host Purple Eagles to come out on top in a tight one. Elmira 3-2
