Boston College garners 49 of 50 first-place votes in D-I men’s poll

With 49 of 50 first-place votes this week, Boston College retains its top spot in the USCHO.com Division I Men’s Poll.

No. 2 New Hampshire, up one spot, garnered the other first-place vote in this week’s poll.

Minnesota rises one to No. 3, as does Miami to No. 4, while Denver tumbles three spots to No. 5.

Notre Dame, North Dakota and Union remain No. 6, No. 7 and No. 8, respectively, and Boston University and Western Michigan flip-flop positions this week with the Terriers moving to No. 9 and the Broncos tenth.

At No. 11, Dartmouth holds steady from a week ago, Cornell climbs one notch to No. 12, Nebraska-Omaha jumps two to sit 13th, St. Cloud State falls two to No. 14 and Yale enters the poll this week at No. 15.

Quinnipiac jumps two to No. 16, Ferris State drops one to No. 17, Colorado College falls a four-spot down to No. 18, while Harvard falls two to No. 19 and Niagara stays the 20th-ranked school in the nation.

The USCHO.com Division I Men’s Poll consists of 50 voters, including 28 coaches from the Division I conferences and 22 beat writers and sports professionals from across the country.
