Minnesota retains top spot in D-I women’s poll with another unanimous vote

Minnesota again leads the pack atop the USCHO.com Division I Women’s Poll with a perfect 34-0 record and a sweep last weekend of St. Cloud State.

Cornell jumps one spot to No. 2 after beating both Rensselaer and Union, Boston College is down one to No. 3 with a tie and a win against Vermont, Boston University stays fourth after sweeping Connecticut and Clarkson rises two to No. 5 with wins over Dartmouth and Harvard last weekend.

Wisconsin stays sixth by virtue of a sweep of Bemidji State, Harvard tied St. Lawrence and lost to Clarkson and falls two to No. 7, North Dakota stays eighth beating and tying Minnesota-Duluth, Mercyhurst remains ninth after sweeping the Rochester Institute of Technology and Northeastern retains the tenth rank with two victories over Providence.

No other teams received votes this week.

The USCHO.com Division I Women’s Poll is compiled weekly and consists of 15 voters, including 14 coaches of Division I programs and one women’s hockey writer.
