Quinnipiac forward Bryce Van Brabant has been suspended for one game by ECAC Hockey and will miss Saturday’s Game 2 of a quarterfinal series against Cornell.
Van Brabant was suspended after a league review of a first-period incident in Friday’s Game 1. He was given a minor elbowing penalty.
The sophomore has played in all 35 games this season for the Bobcats, contributing four goals and 11 points.
Quinnipiac needs to win the final two games of the series to advance after losing 3-2 on Friday.
