Two forwards, two defensemen and two goaltenders make up the 2013 Hockey East All-Rookie Team, while a pair of Boston College players were named individual award winners on Wednesday.
Boston College senior blueliner Patrick Wey earned best defensive defenseman honors, while teammate Johnny Gaudreau won scoring champion laurels.
Providence senior Tim Schaller was named best defensive forward, Vermont junior Chris McCarthy took home the Len Ceglarski sportsmanship award, Massachusetts-Lowell freshman goalie Connor Hellebuyck is the league’s goaltending champion, New Hampshire senior forward John Henrion and Maine junior goalie Martin Ouellette were co-winners of the three stars award and UNH also won the team sportsmanship award.
