After successfully using video replay during its 2013 conference championship weekend, Atlantic Hockey will implement it incrementally across the league during the next two regular seasons.
Atlantic Hockey will allow teams that are capable of producing video reviews to use them during 2013-2014 regular season.
Subsequently, the use of video replay will become mandatory across the league for the 2014-2015 season.
“We want to do the best practices and the best protocols,” said AHA supervisor of officials Eugene Binda. “We want our guys to understand how that system works.”
