Selection Sunday for Division I men’s hockey is two weeks away, but the brackets for the other three NCAA hockey tournaments will be revealed in the coming hours.
Here’s a look at each:
Division I women
The selection show is scheduled for 6 p.m. EDT Sunday at ncaa.com.
Eight teams make the field. Three of them are automatic qualifiers:
ECAC Hockey: Cornell
Hockey East: Boston University
WCHA: Minnesota
The fourth Division I women’s conference, the CHA, does not have an automatic qualifier.

Division III men
The selection show will be broadcast online at ncaa.com starting at 10 p.m. EDT Sunday.
Eleven teams are selected. Seven of them are from leagues with an automatic qualifier:
ECAC East: Babson
ECAC Northeast: Nichols
MASCAC: Salem State
MIAC: St. Thomas
NESCAC: Bowdoin
NCHA: St. Norbert
SUNYAC: Oswego
One Pool B bid is reserved for a team from a league without an automatic qualifier. This season, those leagues are the ECAC West and the WIAC.
The other three bids come from Pool C, which is made up of all other eligible teams from all leagues.

Division III women
The brackets are scheduled to be released on a selection show at ncaa.com at 10 a.m. EDT Monday.
Eight teams get spots in the national tournament. Five of them are automatic qualifiers:
ECAC East: Norwich
ECAC West: Plattsburgh
MIAC: St. Thomas
NESCAC: Williams
NCHA: Lake Forest
The other three are at-large bids from all remaining eligible teams. There is no Pool B in Division III women’s hockey this season.
