The OHL’s London Knights will be the next destination for Boston University forward J.J. Piccinich.
In a press release Wednesday, the Knights announced the signing of Piccinich, who posted a goal and three assists for the Terriers in 25 games as a freshman in 2014-15.
Piccinich was also a fourth-round pick (103rd overall) of the Toronto Maple Leafs in the 2014 NHL draft.
In addition, London also signed former BU recruit Kole Sherwood, a Columbus prospect that signed with the Blue Jackets as a free agent in July. That signing made Sherwood the first-ever Blue Jackets’ prospect to have been developed in their local minor hockey association.
