Amherst police arrest three Massachusetts hockey players after loud party

According to MassLive.com, Amherst police arrested three Massachusetts hockey players for violating the town’s noise bylaw and summonsed another on an alcohol charge after a loud party in the early morning hours of Sept. 27.

The report states that police said arrests were made because of the noise in a residential neighborhood and the time of the party, which was responded to at 1:15 a.m.

Police arrested senior forward Shane Walsh, senior defenseman Ben Gallacher and former player Evan Stack.

Sophomore goalie Henry Dill was also arrested for disorderly conduct at a house next to the party for allegedly punching a police cruiser.

The four were arraigned Monday in Eastern Hampshire District Court in Belchertown.

During the arrest, police found a fake $100 bill in Gallacher’s wallet and it was tagged for destruction, according to the report.
