North Dakota and Minnesota are in the process of finalizing a game that will be played in Las Vegas on Saturday, Oct. 27, 2018, a college hockey source confirmed to the Grand Forks Herald on Sunday.
The contract for the game has not been signed yet, according to the report, but officials at both schools have reportedly verbally agreed to play the game.
The game will be a U.S. Hockey Hall of Fame Game and as of now, is tentatively slated to be played at Orleans Arena, which opened in 2003 and seats 7,773 for hockey. It is also the former home of the ECHL’s Las Vegas Wranglers.
