NCHC issues two-game suspension to Colorado College’s Bradley after illegal hit at Alabama-Huntsville

The NCHC announced Tuesday a two-game suspension to Colorado College freshman forward Trey Bradley stemming from an illegal hit at Alabama-Huntsville on Dec. 18.

Bradley was suspended after a review of a play in which a hit was delivered to the head and neck area of a Huntsville player, who was not in possession of the puck, at 13:37 of the third period. A major penalty for cross checking and a game disqualification were issued on the play. Bradley served his automatic one-game suspension for the disqualification in CC’s next game on Dec. 19 against the Chargers.

Bradley will be required to serve the two-game suspension during Colorado College’s next series on Jan. 8-9 at St. Cloud State. He is then eligible to return the following series on Jan. 22-23 at North Dakota.
