Northern Michigan’s Loggins assessed one-game suspension from WCHA for interference penalty

The WCHA announced Monday a one-game suspension for Northern Michigan sophomore forward Troy Loggins.

The suspension is a result of Loggins’ interference penalty, which came at the 12:12 mark of the first period in Northern Michigan’s game on Saturday, Dec. 4 at Alaska-Anchorage. Upon review, Loggins made contact with the skater’s head in a manner that warranted the suspension.

Northern Michigan’s next scheduled game is Friday, Dec. 9, against Alabama-Huntsville. Loggins is eligible to return for the Wildcats’ contest against the Chargers the following night.
