No. 15 Clarkson 2, Western Michigan 2

Clarkson went on the road to Western Michigan and skated to a 2-2 tie. Clarkson took a 2-1 second period lead on goals from Sheldon Rempal and Devin Brosseau but the Broncos would fight back, getting the tying goal from Dawson DiPetro at 10:52 of the period.  Jake Kelly made 29 saves for Clarkson.

UMass 5, Union 4

UMass built a 5-2 lead and hung on for a 5-4 win on the road at Union. Mitchell Chaffee and Niko Rufo both had a goal and an assist for the Minutemen. Ryan Walker had a goal and an assist for Union. Trailing 5-2 with 1:30 left, Union scored two goals in the next 1:06 to make it 5-4 but couldn’t tie it up.

No. 20 New Hampshire 5, Colgate 0

New Hampshire proved to be too much for Colgate in a 5-0 shutout  Max Gildon scored 2 goals for UNH. Daniel Tirone got the win with a 23-save shutout.

No. 8 North Dakota 2, St. Lawrence 1

North Dakota broke a 1-1 tie at 16:11 of the third period to beat St. Lawrence 2-1. Collin Adams scored the game winner for the Fighting Hawks. St. Lawrence got the tying goal in the second period from Joe Sullivan but couldn’t get anything else past Cam Johnson. Johnson made 20 saves in the victory while St. Lawrence goalie Arthur Brey would make 26 saves in the loss.
