No. 7 Ohio State proved last weekend’s wins over Minnesota were no fluke with a pair of victories over No. 5 Minnesota-Duluth. On Friday, Maddy Field and Julianna Iafallo led the Buckeyes to a 2-0 win. On Saturday, those two added goals to the ones scored by Emma Maltais and Jacyn Reeves as Ohio State took a 4-3 win and moved to 5-0-1 on the season.
No. 8 Colgate took the first game against No. 6 Northeastern, 3-0, on Saturday led by two goals from Jessie Eldridge. On Sunday, the Raiders rolled to a 4-0 lead before Veronika Pettey finally broke through at 19:25 of the second for Northeastern, but Shae Labbe scored her second goal of the game at 5:06 of the third as Colgate won 5-2 to sweep the series.
No. 9 Minnesota took a step toward righting the ship with a pair of wins over Bemidji State. On Friday, Grace Zumwinkle, Taylor Wente, and Cara Piazza scored en route to the 3-1 win. Captain Sydney Baldwin scored in overtime on Saturday to give the Gophers a 4-3 win.
On Friday, Amanda Pantaleo and Brittany Howard gave No. 10 Robert Morris the win over Maine, but the Black Bears came roaring back on Saturday to take the second game, 5-2. Reigning Hockey East co-Rookie of the Year Tereza Vanišová had two goals and two assists for Maine in the win.
Syracuse scored late in each of the first two periods Friday to propel them to a 2-1 win over Providence. On Saturday, the Orange took a 2-0 lead into the third period, but the Lady Friars tied it up to force overtime and Meaghan Rickard scored her second of the game to secure the overtime win.
Taylor Girard scored twice to lift Lindenwood over Mercyhurst on Friday, but on Saturday, six different Lakers scored to give Mercyhurst the 6-1 win.
