Here’s a look at the two midweek games set for tonight. Both start at 7 p.m.
New Hampshire at Rensselaer
After an encouraging win Friday against Yale, RPI had a devastating loss Saturday against Brown. The Engineers led 4-1 early in the third, but allowed four straight goals in an eventual overtime loss to the Bears. New Hampshire has cooled a bit following a fast start, but has still played well overall, and I’ve got to wonder how much of Saturday’s loss will carryover to this game for RPI. New Hampshire wins
Bentley at Brown
While Saturday’s loss was crushing for RPI, it was a big lift for the Bears. Brown avoided getting swept on the road and it has already surpassed last year’s win total before the holiday break. Bentley has won four in a row following a rough start, but I’ve got to think Saturday’s win should give Brown some confidence heading into this game. Brown wins
