USA Hockey announced Thursday that goaltenders David Leggio and Brandon Maxwell have been named to the 2018 U.S. Olympic team.
The duo join the first 23 players named to the team on Jan. 1 and complete the final 25-player roster.
Team USA will begin play in the 2018 Olympic Winter Games on Feb. 14 against Slovenia.
Leggio, who has represented Team USA in two IIHF Men’s World Championships (2010, 2014) and two Deutschland Cups (2009, 2017), is currently playing with EHC München of the DEL, where he has competed in 20 games and recorded a 2.55 GAA and .917 save percentage this season.
He previously played professionally in the AHL (2010-15) and is a product of Clarkson (2004-08), where he helped the Golden Knights win the ECAC playoff title in 2007 and regular-season championship in 2008.
Maxwell is a USA Hockey NTDP alum who played in the OHL and in Europe since 2012.
