ECAC Hockey suspends Princeton’s Riche two games for actions against Clarkson

ECAC Hockey announced Saturday that Princeton junior forward Alex Riche has been assessed a two-game suspension as the result of his actions in the Princeton-Clarkson game from Friday, Feb. 23.

The league action was taken after review of an incident that occurred at the five-minute mark of the overtime period where Riche was assessed a major penalty for cross checking and a disqualification penalty.

Riche is not eligible to compete in Princeton’s next two games – Saturday, Feb. 24 when the Tigers travel to St. Lawrence and the Tigers’ first postseason game.
