Cornell, North Dakota each get 956 voting points, tie for top spot in USCHO.com Division I Men’s Poll

Cornell picked up 21 first-place votes, while North Dakota garnered 17 first-place votes as the two teams tied for the No. 1 spot in the USCHO.com Division I Men’s Poll this week.

Each team earned 956 voting points.

Cornell was No. 2 last week and UND was ranked first.

Third-ranked Minnesota State collected the other 12 first-place votes in this week’s rankings.

Denver is up one notch to No. 4, Boston College down one to No. 5, Penn State remains sixth, Clarkson is again seventh, Minnesota Duluth is up one to No. 8, Ohio State drops one to No. 9, and Massachusetts holds steady at No. 10.

USCHO.com Division I Men’s Poll – Jan. 13, 2020

The only new team in the poll this week is Quinnipiac, entering the rankings tied with Michigan State at No. 20 this week.

In addition, nine other teams earned votes in this week’s poll.

The USCHO.com Poll consists of 50 voters, including coaches and beat writers and sports professionals from across the country.
