
With 32 first-place votes, Western Michigan remains the top team in this week’s USCHO.com Division I Men’s Hockey Poll.
Michigan State, with 11 first-place votes, moves from No. 3 to No. 2, Boston University gets two first-place votes and drops one spot to No. 3, Penn State bags four first-place nods and is up one notch to No. 4, and Denver is down one to sit fifth this week.

Maine is up one to No. 6, Providence is up two to No. 7, Quinnipiac moves up five to sit eighth, Michigan, with the last first-place vote, is up three to No. 9, and North Dakota moves up one spot to sit 10th in this week’s rankings.
In this week’s poll, Boston College (No. 6 to No. 11) and Minnesota (No. 8 to No. 12) fall out of the top 10.
In addition to the top 20 teams, 18 others received votes.
The USCHO.com Division I Men’s Hockey Poll is compiled weekly and consists of 50 voters, including coaches and media professionals from across the country. Media outlets may republish this poll as long as USCHO.com is credited.
