New England College advanced to the semifinals of the ECAC East tournament with a 5-3 victory over UMass-Boston on Saturday night.
Rob O’Leary scored twice for the Pilgrims, including the game-winning goal eight minutes into the third period. That gave New England a 4-1 lead.
New England outshot the Beacons 49-22.
