Victoria Scott’s goal a minute before the end of the first overtime lifted Williams past Bowdoin 5-4 in the ECAC Division III quarterfinals.
The game-winner was Scott’s fourth goal of the game. She had tied the game at 4-4 with nine seconds left in the second period on assists from Caitlin Bowler and Molly Wasserman. Wasserman also assisted on Scott’s game-winning goal.
Jill McDonald and Bo Lanoue each scored twice for Bowdoin. The Polar Bears scored all of their goals in the second period.
Wasserman scored Williams’ other goal.
