Kesselman, Berger each score twice in Princeton’s upset of Colgate

Freshman Aaron Kesselman led the offense with two goals and an assist, and Princeton scored four times in the second period to upset No. 12 Colgate 6-2 on Friday.

Kesselman, Matt Farris, Brodie Zuk and Jack Berger scored in the middle frame for the Tigers (6-10-4, 5-8-1 ECAC Hockey).

Austin Smith scored twice for the Raiders (12-7-2, 6-3), who have lost three straight after a seven-game unbeaten streak.

Princeton goaltender Mike Condon made 10 of his 26 saves in the third period.

Berger scored his second goal of the night to complete the scoring with a short-handed goal at 14:28 of the third.

Colgate goaltender Eric Mihalik made 23 saves.
