MINNEAPOLIS — Leon Bristedt scored at 1:21 in overtime to give Minnesota a series sweep of Ohio State behind its second straight overtime win. Justin Kloos had four points and Tyler Sheehy had three points, including his first two-goal game in his collegiate career.

Sheehy scored just 1:21 into the game, but two quick Ohio State strikes in the second period, one from Drew Brevig at 1:24 and one from Josh Healey at 4:24 put the hosts on their heels. Kloos tied it at 13:57 of the second, setting up a wild third period.

The Gophers got two quick goals, one from Michael Brodzinski at 1:13 on a power play and one from Kloos at 2:37, but Ohio State rallied, and Anthony Greco scored an extra-attacker goal with Ohio State goalie Christian Frey pulled at 19:33, setting up the OT.

Minnesota travels to face Michigan next week, while Ohio State resumes play on Dec. 28 against Boston College.
