ESTERO, Fla — Nick Saracino and Brandon Tanev scored 44 seconds apart in the third period to give No. 1 Providence a 2-1 victory over No. 4 Boston College in the third-place game at the Florida College Hockey Classic on Tuesday.

As that developed, a light fixture failed, causing a half-hour delay before the final seconds could be played.
