GLENDALE, Ariz. — Joey Ferriss scored twice, and Connecticut beat Arizona State 3-0 on Sunday for third place at the Desert Hockey Classic.

Shawn Pauly also scored, and Rob Nichols made 20 saves for a shutout for the Huskies (7-13-1), who also beat the Sun Devils on Tuesday.

Ryland Pashovitz stopped 26 shots for Arizona State (5-17).
