ST. CLOUD, Minn. – Seven goals scored by seven different players helped No. 5 St. Cloud State complete a series sweep with a 7-3 victory over Western Michigan on Saturday night.

The Broncos tied the game with a Frederik Tiffels goal in the middle of the first period, but St. Cloud took the lead for good just 2:37 later with a Patrick Russell goal.

Charlie Lindgren stopped 25 of 28 shots for St. Cloud (20-5-1, 12-3-1 NCHC).

Lukas Hefner stopped 25 of 32 shots for Western Michigan (7-14-3, 4-9-1 NCHC).
