Holy Cross fell behind early and could not recover on Saturday night eventually falling to AIC, 4-2.
A quick power play goal by AIC’s Darius Davidson put them ahead 1-0 5:56 into the first period. Jared Pike made it 2-0 just over five minutes later.
Holy Cross cut the deficit to one with a goal from Dalton Skelly in the final minute of the first period, but AIC scored midway in the second to extend the lead back to two.
Scott Pooley scored late in the third period pull Holy Cross back within one, but AIC sealed the win with an empty net goal.
