Ryker Killins’ second power play goal of the game was the difference maker, as the Ferris State Bulldogs pulled out a 4-3 win over the Huskies of Michigan Tech.

Ferris State (11-17-1, 8-12-1 WCHA) opened the scoring with Trevor Recktenwald’s third of the season.  Greyson Reitmeier answered back for the Huskies (13-10-5, 9-7-5 WCHA) later that period.

The second period saw a combined five power play goals between the Bulldogs and Huskies.  Killins started things off by cashing in on a 5 on 3 opportunity.  With Michigan Tech still down one man, Coale Norris gave Ferris State a two goal lead just 14 seconds later.

The Huskies struck back with power play tallies from Gavin Gould and Thomas Beretta, tying the game at 3 apiece.

With just four seconds left in the middle period, Killins earned his eighth of the year, which put the Bulldogs back on top.

Darren Smith made 35 saves to pick up the win.
