Sheldon Rempal scored twice while linemate Nico Sturm assisted on Clarkson’s three unanswered goals to end the game en route to a three-goal win at Cheel Arena. Jake Kielly made 10 saves in each of the first two periods and totaled 27, improving to 18-4-2 on the season.
Three different players got in the goal column for the Golden Knights, including Terrance Amorosa whose game-winning goal came on the power play at 16:15 of the second period. Devin Brosseau was the other Clarkson skater to light the lamp.
Robbie DeMontis scored Yale’s only goal less than five minutes before Amorosa’s goal, while his team was shorthanded. Sam Tucker made 21 saves in the Bulldog net.
