Brady Tomlak’s goal at 4:38 of the third period tied the game for Air Force (14-11-4) and forced a scoreless overtime. The goal was originally waved off, but was reviewed at the next play stoppage and awarded to Air Force.
Erik Baskin’s 12th goal of the season gave the Falcons a 1-0 first-period lead, but goals from Jared Pike and Hugo Reinhardt put AIC (9-12-4) ahead after two periods.
Stefano Durante made 25 saves for the Yellow Jackets, while Billy Christoplous stopped 22 shots.
Air Force took three of four points in the weekend series.
