In a wild offensive game, Benjamin Freeman’s sixth goal of the season broke a 4-4 tie as Connecticut edged Brown, 6-4, in a Saturday matinee.
Freeman, Wyatt Newpower and Joseph Masonius all had multi-point games for the host Huskies, while defenseman Max Gottlieb posted a game-high three points (1-2-3) for Brown in defeat.
UConn now has won five in a row after losing five straight to begin the second half of the season.
