The Dutchmen outshot the Tigers 45-19 for the game.<\/p>\n
Will MacDonald scored just 25 seconds into the game to give Princeton an early 1-0 lead. But four straight penalties gave Union the momentum to score three unanswered goals on 23 shots in the first.<\/p>\n
Kyle Bodie got the Dutchmen (10-6-4, 4-2-3 ECAC Hockey) on the board on the power play at 9:29, followed by Max Novak at 12:24 and Daniel Carr at 18:08.<\/p>\n
Tyler Maugeri scored in the second period to bring Princeton (5-8-4, 4-4-3) within one, but the Tigers were unable to beat the Union defense or goaltender Troy Grosenick in the third.<\/p>\n
