Omaha\u00a0pumped in four goals during a dominant second-period performance to go ahead for good in a 5-3 victory against 19th-ranked Union at Baxter Arena in Omaha.<\/p>\n

The four-goal spurt was led by Luke Nogard, who assisted the go-ahead goal by Tristan Keck 58 seconds after Fredrik Olofsson knotted the nonconference game at 1-1 with 11:09 left in the second period.<\/p>\n

Nogard made it 3-1 with 5:44 remaining, and Riley Alferd cored the eventual game-winner to clinch the sweep with a goal with 2:12 left.<\/p>\n

Union had led 1-0 after a power-play score by Ryan Walker with about five seconds left in the first.<\/p>\n

The Dutchmen cut the Omaha lead to 4-2 late in the third on a power-play goal by Cole Maier before UNO answered with David Pope’s 11th goal of the season with 1:56 remaining. Walker scored his second of the night with 52 seconds left for the final margin.<\/p>\n
