Brodzinski got a pass from Mikey Eyssimont and beat Broncos goaltender Ben Blacker with a quick snap shot top corner stick side. Dawson DiPietro put Western up 1-0 with a power-play goal at 19:53 of the first when he deflected Corey Schueneman&#8217;s shot in front. Western&#8217;s special teams were effective all night. Schueneman got a power-play goal in the third to tie it with a beautiful snap shot top corner stick side from the top of the slot, and Paul Stoykewych scored shorthanded at 14:22 of the second. Eyssimont had three points for St. Cloud in the win, including a five-on-three power-play goal at 5:50 of the third, picking up a rebound off the right post and ripping it into the open net.
