COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. –<\/strong> Air Force pounded Canisius to the tune of 17 shots in the first period but failed to score through the game\u2019s 20 minutes. For an encore in the second, they made sure to light the lamp.<\/span><\/p>\n The Falcons outshot the Golden Griffins with 36 shots through the first 40 minutes of Saturday\u2019s matchup at Cadet Ice Arena. They scored three times in that second period, eventually winning 3-2 to take a four-point weekend. <\/span><\/p>\n The win wound up as a come-from-behind victory after Dylan McLaughlin staked Canisius to a 1-0 lead in the second. Jordan Himley, Brady Tomlak and Ben Kucera all scored before the period ended, though, with Tomlak\u2019s coming on the power play.<\/span><\/p>\n It was exactly what the Falcons needed.
