The Bulldogs offense was dominant through a period and a half, with goals by Cooper, Mike Doherty, Stu Wilson and Fallen. At 15:48 of the second period, a penalty by Yale gave the the Tigers life, as Alec Rush scored on a blast from the point on the power play. But three minutes later, Fallen netted his second goal of the game, giving the Bulldogs back the momentum and a 5-1 lead.<\/p>\n

In spite of being short-handed for five minutes as a result of a major penalty, the Tigers were pressing on offense in the third, as Aaron Kesselman scored short-handed at 10:37. But Patrick Spano shut the Tigers’ rush down, stopping 10 of 11 shots for a game total of 23 saves.<\/p>\n

Colton Phinney made 17 saves in the first two stanzas for Princeton before being replaced by Sean Bonar, who stopped all eight shots in the third.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
