COLUMBUS, Ohio<\/b> — Kyle Rau and Seth Ambroz scored second-period goals as No. 15 Minnesota beat Ohio State 4-2 on Friday, making Don Lucia the winningest coach in Gophers hockey history.<\/p>\n
The win was Lucia’s 391st, passing Doug Woog on the all-time Minnesota win list.<\/p>\n
Rau broke a 2-2 tie 6:10 into the second period and Ambroz doubled the Gophers’ advantage later in the period.<\/p>\n
Justin Kloos and Sam Warning scored in the first period for Minnesota (19-11-3, 10-4-3 Big Ten), but Craig Dalrymple and Tyler Lundey equalized for Ohio State (11-18-2, 6-11) on the following shift each time.<\/p>\n
Adam Wilcox made 24 saves for Minnesota, which is tied with Michigan for first place in the Big Ten with three games remaining.<\/p>\n
Christian Frey stopped 28 shots for the Buckeyes.<\/p>\n
