Michigan moved its record to 18-12-4 and 13-9-4 in the CCHA. <\/p>\n<p>The Wolverines jumped out to 2-0 lead on goals by Chad Kolarik and Andrew Ebbett in the first period before the Mavs answered with Brandon Scero&#8217;s power-play tally late in the frame. <\/p>\n<p>UNO tied the game at 2-2 on Bill Thomas&#8217; 24th goal of the year at 3:50 of the second period. Michigan would build another two-goal lead in the second stanza on goals by T.J. Hensick and Travis Turnbull, which came four minutes apart. <\/p>\n<p>The Mavericks then made the score 4-3 heading into the final 20 minutes after Alex Nikiforuk knocked in a rebound at the 13:30 mark while UNO was on the power play. <\/p>\n<p>The Mavs&#8217; Scott Parse had two assists on the night and added on to his nation-leading point total, which now stands at 57 points. <\/p>\n<p>UNO was 2-4 on the power play and killed off all three of Michigan&#8217;s chances.
