Well, despite different picks, Arlan and I both went 16-7-1 (). On the year, I am 208-74-30, while Arlan is 204-78-30. We’ve got a few different games this week, so either we’ll be close to tied after weekend’s end, or I’ll have a better lead.

Candace: Home ice usually means something in this matchup, but I like the Orange to stay hot after last week. Syracuse 2-1

Arlan: The second half of the CHA schedule looks like one big, ongoing coin flip, but technically, this is left over from the first half. RIT 2-1

Candace: Both teams showed a lot last weekend, but I’ll go with the visitors. Cornell 3-2

Arlan: This looks like a razor-thin margin; Dartmouth is pretty good at home. Cornell 4-3

Candace: I want to think that last weekend is a sign the Colonials are waking up, even if it was a loss. Robert Morris 2-1, 1-0

Arlan: There are signs that the Colonials are improving, but as yet, those signs are tough to decipher. Robert Morris 1-0, Lindenwood 2-1

Candace: Brown hasn’t been able to score, so … Yale 4-1, 4-2

Arlan: Don’t know that home ice will make a huge difference here. Yale 4-2, 5-2

Candace: Union has shown some progress, but the Engineers are playing better of late. Rensselaer 3-2, 3-1

Arlan: Union is 0-6 in 2015, but those were all teams that rank higher than the Engineers. Rensselaer 2-1, 3-1

Candace: I don’t think either will be close. Minnesota 5-1, 5-0

Arlan: The first three games between these two weren’t pretty for the Huskies, but now we introduce Olympic ice and TV timeouts. Minnesota 3-1, 4-0

Candace: The Bulldogs solidify third in the WCHA. Minnesota-Duluth 3-1, 4-1

Arlan: Potentially, the final clash of two coaches who haven’t always been fans of each other. Minnesota-Duluth 2-0, 4-1

Candace: Overtime wouldn’t surprise me in both of these games. St. Lawrence 2-1, 3-1

Arlan: The Lakers never get swept in these type of games, and they likely won’t here either, but I think SLU is the favorite in each game. St. Lawrence 2-1, 3-2

Candace: CHA games kill me, but so does New Hampshire. Penn State 2-1, 3-1

Arlan: I don’t expect a lot of goals here, and I favor PSU overall, but I have to pick an upset or two. New Hampshire 2-1, Penn State 1-0

Candace: Cornell hasn’t lost since before Thanksgiving, but I think the Big Red might be tired after traveling to Dartmouth the night before. Harvard 3-2

Arlan: Huge game; not having to travel like Cornell does gives the Crimson a slight edge. Harvard 4-3

Candace: If Quinnipiac plays the same way they did Wednesday, this could turn into a rout. Boston College 5-1

Arlan: QU games go one of two ways. Usually, the Bobcats dominate on the ice, but not as much on the scoreboard. Otherwise, they lose. Boston College 4-1

Candace: Bemidji swept this series in the first half, and the Beavers are playing really well. Bemidji State 3-2, 3-1

Arlan: Just about dead even. I’ll give UND a small edge the first day with the Beavers coming off of a rugged series in Madison. North Dakota 2-1, Bemidji State 1-0

Candace: I’m going all in this weekend in the picks race. Maine 4-2, 3-2

Arlan: Northeastern showed me something in losing to BU last week, but Maine isn’t going away. Northeastern 3-2, 4-2

Candace: I’ll give the Friars the benefit of the doubt. Providence 3-2, 3-1

Arlan: I could try to pick this series on Monday morning and still get it wrong. Providence 3-2, Connecticut 2-0

Candace: I want to pick Clarkson in one of these, but can’t. Wisconsin 3-1, 3-2

Arlan: I think the Badgers have too much offense to continue to sputter. Wisconsin 4-2, 3-0

Candace: This will be a big one for the Eagles on the scoreboard. Boston College 8-1

Arlan: Looks like a bad matchup for the Tigers beyond the relative rankings. Boston College 7-0
