This weekend, we see things different in one series, so perhaps he&#8217;ll start to catch up.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Friday-Saturday, Nov. 17-18<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>No. 1 North Dakota at Miami<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Candace:<\/strong> I feel like North Dakota got its bad game out of its system last Friday against Omaha, and while I don&#8217;t expect either game to be easy, I do see a North Dakota sweep. <strong>North Dakota 4-2, 3-2<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Matthew:<\/strong> Part of me feels like Miami might have started turning a corner last weekend against Colorado College, but I&#8217;ve been here before with the RedHawks. <strong>North Dakota 3-1, 3-1<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>No. 8 Minnesota Duluth at St. Cloud State<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Candace:<\/strong> Home ice is the only thing that makes me pause, but I just feel like Minnesota Duluth is starting to click and is going to be moving toward a play at the NCAA tournament. <strong>Minnesota Duluth 3-2, 4-2<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Matthew:<\/strong> UMD hasn&#8217;t lost in regulation since the first weekend of December, but could that happen here? This SCSU team hasn&#8217;t been the easiest one to predict. St. Cloud State 2-1, <strong>Minnesota Duluth 4-1<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>No. 4 Denver at Omaha<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Candace:<\/strong> Denver looked very good for the most part last weekend, except for a nap late in the second period on Saturday. I think this will be a Pioneers sweep, putting even more distance between the top three and the rest of the league. <strong>Denver 4-2, 5-3<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Matthew:<\/strong> UNO got a very credible split last week at North Dakota, but the Mavericks are 0-15-1 in their last 16 meetings with Denver and I don&#8217;t know that it changes this weekend. <strong>Denver 3-2, 3-1<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Colorado College at Western Michigan<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Candace:<\/strong> I&#8217;m tempted to pick a Western sweep since they are at home, but the Broncos haven&#8217;t been consistent enough of late. <strong>Western Michigan 4-2, Colorado College 3-2<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Matthew:<\/strong> Going in, a split seems fair for a series between two of the NCHC&#8217;s more underwhelming teams this season. <strong>Western Michigan 3-1, Colorado College 3-2<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Last weekend, Matthew and I went 4-3-1 (.562).
