{"id":22986,"date":"2000-01-11T09:25:32","date_gmt":"2000-01-11T15:25:32","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.uscho.com\/2000\/01\/11\/ccha-halts-fourman-officiating-system\/"},"modified":"2010-08-17T19:53:58","modified_gmt":"2010-08-18T00:53:58","slug":"ccha-halts-fourman-officiating-system","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/wwwproxy.uscho.com\/2000\/01\/11\/ccha-halts-fourman-officiating-system\/","title":{"rendered":"CCHA Halts Four-Man Officiating System"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>After experimenting with a two-referee, two-linesman officiating system for the first half of the season, the CCHA has decided to suspend the four-man configuration for the remainder of the year. <\/p>\n<p>The league made the decision after a discussion with the CCHA&#8217;s head coaches. <\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We have gathered excellent feedback and have had valuable discussions regarding the four-man system,&#8221; said CCHA Director of Officials Brian Hart.  &#8220;At this time, we decided to further discuss the system and its mechanics in greater detail at the conclusion of the season.&#8221; <\/p>\n<p>The system was used in 20 games, including 16 league games and the four games of the Great Lakes Invitational at Joe Louis Arena in late Decmeber.
