{"id":24508,"date":"2002-03-13T09:37:03","date_gmt":"2002-03-13T15:37:03","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.uscho.com\/2002\/03\/13\/college-division-coach-of-the-year-finalists-named\/"},"modified":"2010-08-17T19:54:25","modified_gmt":"2010-08-18T00:54:25","slug":"college-division-coach-of-the-year-finalists-named","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/wwwproxy.uscho.com\/2002\/03\/13\/college-division-coach-of-the-year-finalists-named\/","title":{"rendered":"College Division Coach of the Year Finalists Named"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Finalists were named today for the Edward Jeremiah award, given by the American Hockey Coaches Association to the College Division (Division II or III) coach of the year.<\/p>\n<p>Criteria for being named a finalist are to win the coach of the year award in your conference, and\/or to coach a team to the Division III Frozen Four.<\/p>\n<p>The finalists are:<\/p>\n<p>Bill Beaney (Middlebury)<br \/>\nChris Brown (Marian)<br \/>\nTim Coghlin (St. Norbert)<br \/>\nBob Emery (Plattsburgh)<br \/>\nScott Harlow (Stonehill)<br \/>\nAl MacCormack (Lebanon Valley)<br \/>\nKevin McGonagle (MCLA)<br \/>\nMike McShane (Norwich)<br \/>\nTerry Meagher (Bowdoin)<br \/>\nBrett Peterson (Gustavus Adolphus)<br \/>\nDan Stauber (Wisconsin-Superior)<br \/>\nWayne Wilson (RIT)<\/p>\n<p>Wilson won the award last season. Beaney (1990, 1995), McShane (1997, 1999, 2000)  and Meagher (1986, 1989) are also past winners.<\/p>\n<p>The winner will be announced in early April and presented at the AHCA Convention on April 27.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Finalists were named today for the Edward Jeremiah award, given by the American Hockey Coaches Association to the College Division (Division II or III) coach of the year.
