Canisius will finish interviewing candidates for its head coaching vacancy next week.<\/p>\n
With Colorado College’s season finally over, Tigers assistant Joe Bonnett will join a group of five finalists, according to sources.<\/p>\n
The other names include current RPI assistant and former Iona head coach Frank Bretti; two-time ECAC Coach of the Year Stan Moore, now an assistant at Colgate; Maine assistant Campbell Blair; and Niagara assistant Jerry Forton.<\/p>\n
The Canisius position has been vacant since Brian Cavanaugh was fired midseason. The assistants took over on an interim basis.<\/p>\n
