The Western Collegiate Hockey Association (WCHA) and U.S. College Hockey Online are pleased to announce a live free video Web cast of the 2006 WCHA Women’s Playoff Championships, Saturday and Sunday, March 11-12 in Minneapolis at Ridder Arena on the campus of the University of Minnesota. <\/p>\n
Fans will be able to view both semifinals and the championship game via the USCHO women’s page<\/a>. The first semifinal will be played Saturday, March 11 at 1:07 p.m. with the second semifinal to follow at 4:07 p.m. The championship game will start at 1:07 p.m. on Sunday, March 12. All times are CST. <\/p>\n USCHO Game of the Week broadcaster Brian Schulz will handle the play-by-play while former Minnesota standout and 2000 WCHA Defensive Player of the Year Winny Brodt will provide the color commentary. <\/p>\n Technical production will be provided by BroadcastMonsters. Users will need a broadband Internet connection (300 kbps or higher) and Windows Media Player to view the feed.
