The day-by-day achievements of this year’s 10 finalists for the Patty Kazmaier Award are too long for any one person to remember, so USCHO is providing the service of listing them right here. This list highlights games in which candidates made indisputable contribution to the outcome, with an emphasis on results against NCAA contenders. The hope is that this list will capture each candidate’s achievements better than the traditional selection of aggregate season statistics.<\/p>\n

Sara Bauer, Wisconsin<\/h4>\n

Oct. 9: Wisconsin 4, UMD 3 (OT) — Scored OT game-winner.
\nOct. 21: Wisconsin 4, Minnesota State 1 — Assisted on the first goal and scored to give Wisconsin a 2-1 lead.
\nNov. 4: Wisconsin 5, St. Cloud State 2 — Scored the first Wisconsin goal and assisted on two more to give Wisconsin a 3-0 first intermission lead.
\nNov. 5: Wisconsin 3, St. Cloud State 1 — Scored the first Wisconsin goal and assisted on the second to give Wisconsin an early 2-0 lead.
\nNov. 26: Wisconsin 4, Dartmouth 3 — Scored in the third period to tie the game 2-2. Scored to tie the game 3-3 and assisted on the game-winner 13 seconds later.
\nDec. 9: Wisconsin 2, UMD 2 — Scored to tie the game 1-1 in the second period and assisted on a goal that gave Wisconsin a 2-1 lead in the third period.
\nDec. 10: Wisconsin 2, UMD 1 — Scored game’s first goal shorthanded.
\nJan. 20: Wisconsin 4, Ohio State 3 (OT) — Had one assist in leading Wisconsin back from a 3-1 deficit, and then scored the OT game-winner shorthanded.
\nJan. 22: Wisconsin 5, Ohio State 1 — Assisted on a game-tying goal and scored the game winner in the first period.
\nFeb. 11: Wisconsin 3, Minnesota 1 — Assisted on the game’s first goal.<\/p>\n

Sabrina Habec, St. Lawrence<\/h4>\n

Oct. 14: St. Lawrence 3, Wayne State 2 — Scored to tie the game 1-1.
\nOct. 15: St. Lawrence 4, Wayne State 0 — Assisted on the first three goals.
\nOct. 29: St. Lawrence 3, Mercyhurst 2 (OT) — Scored the first goal and assisted on the second.
\nOct. 30: St. Lawrence 4, Mercyhurst 1 — Scored two goals including the eventual game-winner.
\nJan. 14: St. Lawrence 4, Brown 1 — Figured on three third-period St. Lawrence goals (one shorthanded goal, two assists) in a game that was tied at the second intermission.
\nFeb. 3: St. Lawrence 3, Princeton 1 — Assisted on game’s first two goals.
\nFeb. 17: St. Lawrence 5, Brown 2 — Scored in first period to give St. Lawrence a lasting 2-1 lead.
\nFeb. 18: St. Lawrence 7, Yale 1 — Had a goal and an assist in giving St. Lawrence an early 3-0 lead.

\nJan. 7: OSU 4, Minnesota State 2 — Figured on all four OSU goals (two goals, two assists) after an early 1-0 deficit.
\nJan. 14: OSU 2, Niagara 2 — Scored a game-tying goal in the second period and a shorthanded goal for the lead in the third period.
\nJan. 20: Wisconsin 4, OSU 3 (OT) — Assisted on a game-tying goal and scored to put OSU up 2-1 in the second period.
\nJan. 21: Wisconsin 5, OSU 1 — Scored game’s first goal shorthanded.
\nJan. 28: OSU 3, Minnesota 2 (OT) — Scored a goal and added an assist to help OSU back from a 2-0 deficit. Assisted on the OT game-winner.

\nOct. 22: UNH 8, Niagara 2 — Assisted on four goals, including two of UNH’s first three before the first intermission.
\nNov. 13: UNH 5, Yale 2 — Scored UNH’s first goal.
\nNov. 19: UNH 8, Northeastern 2 — Compiled three goals and two assists. Scored UNH’s first goal and had a shorthanded score that gave UNH a 3-1 lead.
\nNov. 27: UNH 2, Wisconsin 1 — Scored the eventual game-winner.
\nJan. 14: UNH 5, Maine 3 — Scored to give UNH a 3-2 lasting lead and assisted on a critical insurance goal in the third period.
\nJan. 29: UNH 7, Providence 2 — Scored to give UNH a 2-1 lasting lead.
\nFeb. 12: UNH 4, Providence 1 — Scored a critical third-period insurance goal to give UNH a 3-1 lead.<\/p>\n

Noemie Marin, Minnesota-Duluth<\/h4>\n

Oct. 8: UMD 5, Wisconsin 2 — Assisted on game’s first goal. Assisted on UMD’s second goal to tie the game 2-2 and the third to take a 3-2 lead. Scored an insurance goal in the third period.

\nNov. 12: St. Lawrence 3, Dartmouth 0 — Stopped all 24 shots.
\nNov. 30: St. Lawrence 3, Clarkson 1 — Stopped 13 of 14 shots, including all five in the last two periods as St. Lawrence comes back from a first intermission deficit.

\nDec. 9: UMD 2, Wisconsin 2 — Stops 35 of 37 shots, including four in OT. Her team takes just 23 shots.
\nJan. 20: UMD 4, Minnesota 2 — Stops 36 of 38 shots, including all 23 in the first two periods. UMD takes only 23 shots all game.<\/p>\n
