Denver defenseman Matt Carle, the 2006 Hobey Baker Memorial Award winner, and Colorado College forward Brett Sterling repeated as First-Team selections on the RBK Division I All-American teams, announced Friday by the American Hockey Coaches Association.<\/p>\n
Boston College, which faces Wisconsin for the NCAA title Saturday, led all schools with three representatives on the East First Team, as well as one Second-Team selection. Wisconsin has three honorees of its own, including one First-Teamer.<\/p>\n
Also repeating as All-Americans were First-Team defenseman Andy Greene of Miami and Second-Team defenseman Brian Yandle of New Hampshire, who were Second-Team choices last year.<\/p>\n
Twelve of the 24 selections were seniors, with nine juniors and three sophomores. The honorees hail from 11 states and four Canadian provinces. The leading sources of All-Americans are Massachusetts and Minnesota, each with four honorees.<\/p>\n
